My wife had an appointment today with Dr. Werahera. Yes, she had to wait about an hour before seeing her, but after the appointment, I completely understood why. Dr. Werahera actually takes her time with her patients, which is becoming increasingly rare nowadays. She listens, offers different options, and genuinely tries to understand the situation rather than simply prescribing medication and moving on. What impressed me the most was that she explained to my wife that medication isn’t necessarily the long-term solution, but rather a temporary tool that could help her while she works toward finding a more sustainable solution. As an osteopath, I’ve seen many patients who have had terrible experiences with doctors, including rushed appointments, questionable diagnoses, and a general lack of attention to their concerns. Unfortunately, I’ve heard these stories far too often. That’s why it’s genuinely refreshing to see a doctor who demonstrates both competence and compassion and who actually cares about her patients. I’d much rather wait an extra hour to see a doctor who takes the time to provide proper care than be seen immediately by someone who rushes through the appointment in five minutes. Thank you, Dr. Werahera, for reminding us what good healthcare should look like.

Le médecin incompétent, n’écoute pas patient. Zero respect sur l’horaire , attendre 2 heures est normal. Écoute rien, aucun jugement clinique. Si un patient qui a de cancer n’a pas de douleur dans la journée de consultation, selon elle, il n’a pas de maladie. Allez au clinique sans rendez-vous, il faut pas perdre du temps avec elle. 

THE WORST DOCTOR. MY MOM ALMOST HAD A STROKE BECAUSE SHE NEVER LOOKED AT HER RESULTS. THEY WERE SITTING ON HER DESK FOR MONTHS. AND NOW SHE STILL TREATS HER LIKE SHIT! SHE SHOULDN'T BE WORKING WITH PATIENTS AND SHOULD BE FIRED! PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING BECAUSE OF INCOMPETENT DOCTORS LIKE HER!

Médecin très compétente et très gentille. Oui, il y a souvent du retard, mais elle prend le temps avec chaque patient. C'est une perle. Elle était médecin dans son pays et a recommencé les études de médecine au Québec! Elle sait de quoi elle parle!

Toujours au moins une heure d'attente,  et moins de 5 minutes de consultation. Jamais bien écouté.. je ne vois pas du tout d'aspect professionnelle.. la pire médecin que j'ai vu.. comment je pourrais changer le médecin...

Always at least an hour late. Only listens if it fits her predefined idea.
