Doctor Shady Abid is the most human, knowledgeable and efficient doctor I have ever seen. I consider myself blessed to have him as my family doctor. 

Back in 2013, when I was first diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and Hyper tension. And I was poorly managing my conditions and ot was so impossible to find any family Dr around. My condition was a wreck. I'm so lucky to be able to survived that long. I was admitted to the LakeShore Hospital somewhere in 2023  My Blood Glucose was "23", I've first met Dr Abid that night and He gave me SHIT! For that matter.. and I'd explained myself , Dr Abid God bless His Soul offered his Services and to be my Family Dr,  I bursted in tears. HE CHANGED MY LIFE, My life Style. Now a days my glucose ranges from 5.5 to 8.0 although these are way much healthier, my body still adjusting . But very Thannkful and it's all because Dr Shady Abid

I saw dr. abid last week at his office for the first time. he is an exceptional family doctor who truly cares.  The level of care and attention to detail provided by dr. abid is unparalleled. I highly recommend him for anyone seeking compassionate and knowledgeable medical care.

We met dr. abid at the Lakshore general hospital when my father was Hospitalized under his care.  This doctor is an angel on earth, amazing bedside manners very empathetic and very detailed with his explanations. The Lakeshore and the west island needs more like this doctor.

He yelled at me and told me that my ailments were all in my head. Will be seeking another doctor.

On October 24 I had my first appointment with Dr. Shady Abid.  I was truly impressed by his professionalism, attentiveness, kindness, as well as the new technologies he uses in his work!!

He was my mother’s ER doctor at the Lakeshore General. What an exceptional communicator, kind, patient and empathetic. The hospital is so lucky to have him!

My mom saw him on sept 12 at the lakeshore and was very happy with him. An amazing human with an impeccable bed side manner. Vey thorough and knowledgeable. Took the time necessary with her.

If Dr. Abid is your doctor, STAY WITH HIM. He is extremely good. Always courteous, very knowledgeable, does not prescribe medicines unnecessarily. He is easily accessible. I am very fortunate to be his patient. 

I have never seen a doctor so human and knowledgeable at the same time. He takes the time to help with your main concern while also managing your overall health. I am so lucky to have him as a doctor.

Fantastic Doctor.  Caring and thorough.  Rushed as he is very busy but never refuses to answer a question.  The medical profession needs more like Dr. Abid, someone who TRULY cares about his patients wellbeing.
