Dr. Pwint, After my PET Scan in Kelowna, my wife and I met with you via telephone and was told that the scan showed no melanoma. We informed you about the MRI booked in July from Dr. Alsaeed. Since then I have had 3 different telephone calls from Kelowna to have an MRI and questioned them each time, because I have an MRI booked in Kamloops July 23/26 from Dr. Alsaeed. Called your office and the nurse said that if Kelowna called again that they should contact the Cancer Clinic in Kamloops. Well Kelowna called again today and tried to book the MRI with me. My wife took the phone and let them know that the MRI was already booked in Kamloops and that they should contact your office. The nurse said she would fax you some information. I am very frustrated at having to deal with all these calls and appointments that are going right, let alone have to deal with the hassle of the wrong people calling me. Why are we involved in straightening out problems from the medical system. Please put yourself in my position, this incredibly frustrating. Who is in charge of my medical care Kelowna or Kamloops?
