Dr. Melissa Pyrch was my physician during visit at the U of A Emergency. I had excrutiatingly difficult time for the past two weeks having to void (pee) every ten minutes both day and night. Meaning no sleep and I was at the end of my rope. I had been taking antibiotics for 6 months. I should have had the cleanest bladder and no UTIs. Instead, it was getting worse. I was forced to come to U of A and endure a 9 hour waittime. I got there at 1:30 AM and got in to see Dr. Pyrch at about 11:30. I provided her with my briefing note of the past six months. She read my note all the way through. She move me to a different room and utilized manual and continuous bladder irrigation. She booked an appointment with the Katz Centre to receive a IV Antibiotics and set me up with Infectious Disease Specialist. Dr. Melissa Pyrch is the best doctor I have ever had. She really cares and she truly knows how to solve difficult problems.
