Dr Holtby was very professional, informative and considerate. We had a excellent experience

I found Dr. Holtby to be very friendly with good bedside manner. She was very thorough and informative. 

Very professional yet seemed dismissive and defensive when asked for a second opinion of a diagnosis. Family voiced concerns with diagnosis and questioned if family had credentials to question hers. 

This woman has the bedside manner of a gnat. She was rude, arrogant and should not be working with humans. My husband was sitting beside me and she looked at me and said "he'll be dead in six months." Who does that? Then she said to my husband, "If you fall and go to the hospital you'll never go home again". Who says that? She should only be allowed to work in a rat lab...poor rats! 5 years later my husband is still alive! 

How do I even explain Dr Holtby...rude, agrogant (not sure why), inconsiderate, argumentative. Don't waste your time waiting to see her. Seek help elsewhere.

September 2020 she wrote in her report "as you know I reviewed the mri, I see no clear stigma of Idiopathic intercranial hypertension."

I saw Dr Holtby today for the first time and she was great. Her knowledge and willingness to help was so appreciated.

This is quite literally the worst doctor I had ever been to. She’s rude, self absorbed and literally threw a 5 year olds type of hissy fit, about her amazing credentials. I told her I couldn’t live like this anymore as I sobbed from her horrific behaviour…instead of offering me help, she told me this appt was over a stormed out the door like a 5 year old. 

After having one over the phone and one in person appointment which were 5 minutes with no exams or tests she tells me that my headaches are all in my head. 

I feel impressed with Dr. Holtby’s attention to detail, her efficient response recognizing red flags concerning my health and that additional testing is required.
