Dr. Matusinec is a kind, compassionate and informative doctor. He always takes the time to explain things to me and is so understanding, taking the time needed for my appointments. He does run a little late, but it can only be because of the time and care he takes with each patient.

He’s good. I like him a lot. I think the bad reviews on here are all false. Clearly coming from people who think they can run the medical system and tell the professionals what to do. I didn’t go to school to be a doctor so I’m not going to pretend like I know more than they do and tell them what they should be doing with my care. 

Really good doctor. We are very lucky to have him in Stratford.

Excellent doctor. Very kind and patient. Runs late often but usually because he will take the extra time to listen and give attention to his patients when they need it. He has done this for myself and my family many times and he genuinely cares about his patients 

Jacob Matusinec should have his licensing reviewed by the board. Our family was with Dr. edwards for years. Once Matusinec took over, it was absolutely horrible. He is discriminatory and dismissive. A complaint was submitted to the board of physicians based on blatant discrimination.  When the final decision was revealed, it showed that he lied in his testimony…. A doctor, who is a person you should be able to trust, blatantly lied about things that he said and did during a visit. Very scary and unfortunate. We have since left and found a wonderful physician. My recommendation is to avoid him like the plague.

The worst doctor ever. Prescriptions are often not renewed in a timely manner when requested. I've had to go a month with no diabetes or psych meds before he gets around to it. Even the druggist is fed up with having to contact him multiple times to get refills. He keeps trying to push for phone contact only. I have had a rash on my face for months. It needs a physical appointment for him to see it but he again pushed for phone.

Dr. Matusinec is extremely thoughtful and goes above and beyond for his patients. He frequently fits me in for same day appointments, which I'm not used to coming from other family doctors. I've never been able to get same day appointments with any other doctor. 

Dr. Matusinec is one of the BEST doctors I have ever had. I have met with a lot of doctors over the years, and Dr. Matusinec stood out to me and my family as being of the highest caliber. He was very thorough, kind, and took the time to answer all of my questions. He treats myself, my husband and daughter with respect and always finds a medical solution to our problems. 

Dr. Matusinec treated our teen with much disrespect and thought it was appropriate to yell at them for several minutes. He thought it was acceptable to have them wait for 4 weeks before being seen while being medically complex. Telling us to go to emerge if it couldn't wait.  He promised to come back within a few days after doing some research and he never did. Then he called us and let us go as patients leaving a teen who needs medical care without a doctor. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour from a physician. 

He is discriminatory on who he will treat. He knowledge, as a new doctor, is limited. His bedside manner is poor, a result of his discriminatory nature.
