We went to this clinic where my wife did her blood tests and first-trimester ultrasound. The blood test results were good and showed no signs of trisomy. My wife also had her second-trimester ultrasound there. After the ultrasound, they told us that the report would be sent to our doctor.
Two days later, we received a call from our doctor, asking us to come in because something was found in the scan. After a stressful and worrying week, the doctor informed us that the report from Prenato, written by Dr. Dina Zaki, said our baby might have trisomy 18 even though the blood tests showed the opposite.
However, our doctor wasn't concerned and believed the report was likely inaccurate. She advised us to go to Saint Mary's hospital to verify everything.
At Saint Mary's, we were fortunate to see a doctor immediately, who told us that Prenato's report was completely wrong, especially since the blood tests showed no signs of trisomy. The doctor literally said this report is stupid. Thank god My wife had another ultrasound at the hospital, and thankfully, everything was perfectly fine.
This experience caused us unnecessary stress, and I cannot recommend Prenato. Dr. Dina Zaki's carelessness in reporting something so serious without proper verification is unacceptable.
