Prime example of medical misogyny and what’s wrong with the healthcare system. Mansplained to me what PMDD is when I’ve been suffering with it for over twenty years. Called me “young lady” and I am a 36 year old woman. Thought I didn’t know other forms of contraceptives than birth control ie: assumed I didn’t know what condoms were. Referred me to a gynaecologist with a 2 year waiting list, stating my suicidal ideation and other symptoms were “non-urgent”

I saw Dr. Lurie due to aa hypertension issue. He assured me that I was mildly hypertensive.and wrote a.note to say 4hat.I didn't require medication. However, I am trying to have his.note.referred to the faculty of Dentistry,U of T in an urgent need for treatment. I need his.note.from.Nov 2021nto be sent.to.faculty OR to be re assessed. It  is protocol for graduate student to treat me. The note.written Nov 2021.would.suffice

Horrible fatphobic doctor who is letting my kidneys shut down instead of actually doing any tests. Stay away. 

Dr. Lurie is patient, thorough, thoughtful, and accessible. I can recommend him to anyone looking for a family doctor.

Dr. Zerah Lurie is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. Dr Lurie is good Family doctor, has knowledge, he helped me a lot with one long term health issue. Good, caring human, who explains the medical matter to me and who takes  time  to go thorough my questions.

Dr. Zerah Lurie is the most professional, knowledgeable doctor with such a relaxing and human approach that we can only dream about. He diagnosed my problem right away and resolved my issue! I am so happy to meet him and I can highly recommend him as the best doctor and human being.

I keep reading and re-reading the negative comments regarding Dr. Zerah Lurie and you over zealous, bimbos....where are you coming from??!  I am in the MOST critical human on earth and I have been told many times that I only see negatively.  Dr. Zerah Lurie is not deserving of your unfounded comments.  I can say this as His patient who looks at His sense of endearing humanity towards EVERYONE and being the professional that He is, He probably accepts your comments but I certainly cannot.  Think about your innane stupidity former patients that appear to be women.  I am insulted that these comments come from a gender of my own kind.  Hats off to you Dr. Lurie, you're the the Creamthe

Awful. No bedside manner and completely unhelpful.

This doctor was very hyper from the moment I entered the consult room. He then proceeded to rebuke me for what he mistakenly believed was a lack of follow up on my part. He had failed to ask if I had in fact consulted elsewhere since I had been to their walk in clinic almost two years ago. I was very taken aback by his very punchy bedside manner and had to remind him that I was calm when I arrived but he was upsetting me and doctors are meant to be a source of healing, not distress. This man needs a serious lesson in bedside manner. In hindsight the other Male doctor I had seen there almost two years ago was abit of an arrogant ass too. Maybe it's me who is a bad fit. I like my doctors to have the facts before beating me and to be alot more humane.
