Dr. NG Troy (CPSO: 103199) is worst doctor I have ever seen in my life time. He did trigger finger surgery on my one finger more than 5 months ago. I haven't recovered still and it looks like I have to do 2nd surgery on the same finger again. He screwed up my finger, he made my finger worst than before due to his lack of knowledge or lack of experiences. I have been doing Physiotherapy since last 3 months and no improvement. I have never imagined I will go through such a miserable life with my hand due to his wrong surgery on my finger.
I had follow up appointment with him after the surgery at Brampton CIVIC hospital, every time I went there wait time was almost 3 hours even though I booked very early morning appointment.
On the day of my finger Surgery, he told me, I will have full recovery in one and 1/2 months (i.e. within 6 weeks) but it was false assurance from him. During my first appointment with him after 6 weeks, when he saw my finger and assessed, I asked him when do you think I will get better and go to daily normal activities, he told me he doesn't know. I had 2nd visit to the same clinic, post operative follow up and had appointment with him after 4 weeks (i.e. after 10 weeks from the Surgery day). In my 2nd visit with him, it was horrible experience, he was super rude with me. I told him I have severe pain in the incision area, he used his full body force on my finger to demonstrate how to massage, he put me in huge pain, he didn't show any empathy.
I had 3rd follow up appointment with him 4 weeks after then 2nd appointment at the hospital, I cancelled that appointment, as I am very scared to see him any more.
I think my reviews will be helpful for others, so that they will find better Surgeons for their needs.
Don't waste your time, energy and health by visiting NG Troy.

Dr Ng was very dismissive of dealing with a post operative issue I had.  He said he’d “Never seen this before” and basically wanted to be done with any complications I might have.

Check up is poor and doesn't fully examine your injury. Only goes based on x-rays and doesn't want to hear about muscle pain related to the injury. He's words "that's not he's expertise and I should speak with my family doctor or walk-in clinic." Why do you think I came to the hospital?

Amazing. Kind, caring, professional and knowledgeable in his medical practice. 

Poor follow up. I had a concern with side effect that was not discussed prior to surgery. Dr dismissed it. When called out he acted all wounded.
