My father was admitted into Mackenzie Health . We had the privilege of meeting Dr. Plener hen he came to visit my father. He was informative, kind and explained my fathers condition with such poise and calm. He took his time and continued to make us feel comfortable and more at ease with the prognosis. Such a wonderful human being and incredibly talented doctor .

I showed up too the hospital with dehydration and stomach problems as well as anorexia and he thought it was a good idea too give me a medication that will induces further dehydration as well as 17 other underline side effects that may put me back in the ER after being there for 2 days of recovery already he is unprofessional, on a power trip, very dismissive and doesn’t listen too the patient at all, in my opinion from this one experience he should have his medical license revoked and not be aloud too practice medicine anywhere at all. The fact that there are any good reviews about this doctor makes me believe he wrote them himself from one visit I have grown a hatred for him.

My elderly father was in Emergency, unfortunately for us he was the Dr on duty, did not care to give me his time. Poor communicator, arrogant, on a power trip. Extremely dissatisfied with how we were treated. Seems he’s unaware of his duties as a Dr.

I initially me Dr. Plener when I was in hospital for a bowel obstruction. I ended up having Crohn's disease. When I finally left hospital, Dr. Plener followed me closely in clinic, reviewed all the treatment options and started me on a biologic. I am feeling so much better. He always takes the time to explain things to me and I really appreciate his great bedside manner.
