Went in for a routine refill on medication I've taken for 20 years. The doctor treated me like a criminal — grilling me with personal questions about my marital status, my job, and whether I hear voices. I have depression and anxiety. I needed a refill, not an interrogation from someone who isn't even my doctor. While waiting, I also witnessed an elderly patient being charged $75 cash for what should be a covered OHIP visit. She said she'd never paid before and only had $50. They took it and said nothing more. This is illegal in Ontario. This clinic is taking advantage of people who don't know their rights — seniors, newcomers, and anyone in between. Avoid if you can, and if you've been charged for an OHIP-covered visit, report it to the Ontario Ministry of Health.
