Triage Nurse very Arrogant, maby frustrated, but not our fault , don’t like quite the job, but don’t takthe frustration on the Patient 

Arrived at urgency on Friday . Left leg was numb . Made me sit in a wheelchair in the waiting room . Was seen about three hours later. They did an mri and ctscan . Keep meon stretcher for three days . Saw neurology . Sad my mri did not change since 2010. Was referred to physiotherapy at lakeshore and to see an orthopaedic surgeon . Was prescribed Lyrica

Absolutely  brutal however lying named will not solve issues 

This ER is managed absolutely ridiculous! The staff (nurses and admins) was ok but they can’t do more or faster if there is only ONE doctor who has to see ALL the patients. Unfortunately the end result is that many of them don’t have anything to do three quarters of the time, and the doctor cannot make a miracle happen and be in several places at the same time... Also, unacceptable in general, but especially in these pandemic times, that the wait room was never cleaned during the 12 hours I waited there...not the floors, not the chairs, NOTHING! Unreal...

To everyone complaining, you are probably there to be seen for something that can be done in a clinic and you waste everyone's time by backing up the department. No one needs to go to the emergency for some reason that has been going on for a month. It's an emergency room people! They have to deal with so much and the people who complain are usually the least sick. Make room there for the ones who actually need it and usually never complain. Be kind to the staff. They are going through hell! Go to your own doctor, go to the clsc or a clinic and stop complaining about your back pain that has been going on for years etc. That's why you wait!

Given the fact that there is only one doctor working the ER, it’s normal that some patients may need to wait long hours before their turn. There is a priority list and various levels. Waiting after triage is considered patient care: they are observing how the situation evolves in some cases. Finally, considering the long hours they work and the numerous patients they see, I was pleasantly surprised by the staff. The nurses were happy, friendly and gentle. The x-ray specialist was funny, patient and caring. I spent 13 hours there and every second was worth the care received.

One doctor to assess patients in emer room and people coming on an ambulance. In 7 hours no one has been called. Although, i understand the shortage of staff but this is beyond ridiculous. I empathize with the staff. HOWEVER, being treated by Dr. Bacon, makes all worth it. He is a DOCTOR from God. He definitely Is in the right place. Thank you!

Many people burden ER that should be going to a clinic If you do not want to wait buy a paid service

Horrible hospital with useless and unbelievably aggressive staff. Completely unhelpful, arrogant, and unprofessional. They should be ashamed of the horrendous service they barely provide.

EMERGENCY ROOM = EMERGENCY. I see people texting, laughing, chatting, eating, smoking - NONE of you are emergent. Expect hours of wait. When you complain that there is 1 doctor, you are right. That ONE doctor manages the ER and the CONSULTS FOR THE ENTIRE PLACE. If you are not satistifed, by all means call the health minister and VOICE YOUR ISSUES, because I (as a nurse at the ER at the LGH) would LOVEEEEEE nothing more than a properly staffed ER with many doctors, but such is life. And such is public health care.

Urgence à éviter, j’ai du patienter 7 heure pour voir un médecin et l’urgence était totalement vide. Entre 1am et 7:30am ils n’ont appelé que 3 patients. C’est une vrai farce.

Pire experience de ma vie mais pas tout le temps. Ca depend vraiment de l equipe. La residente etait tres gentille et prpfessionnelle. Par la suite, le medecin de nuit n a paa fait de tournee dutout. Le lendemain 8h un medecin sans aucune raison me laisse partir. Je reviens 1 semaine plus tard pour les memes symptomes et pire, premiere equipe horrible, 2eme equipe vraiment bien et 3eme equipe une vraie cataatrophe. J ai meme assiste a une scene de npn assistance a personne en menace de suicide. Le medecin n a rien fait. Je pense serieusement a porter plainte

The nurse that was there around 02h30 , february 18th 2019, didnt have any idea how to deal with a patient under massive pain. She was extremely rough and even my husband, who was witu me when she was treating me as a garbage, complained. There were lots of empty beds that she refused to put me to wait for the doctor, because they were meant to be used by ambulance trabaported cadio patients. The place was empty! In a previous visit, a properly qualified nurse put me to wait for the doctor in the same beds when the hospital was packed. I dont think the hospital changed its procedure in less than 2 months. She just wanted to be rough! I had endonetriosis pain during period. Massive cramps, bloating, constipation. Avoid that hospital with all the forces! We left to avoid major problems with that crazy nurse!

Good staff, hopelessly overworked and totally inadequate facilities (Overnight stays often on beds in the corridor; hopelessly inadequate bathroom facilities; no privacy). Government...get real. This is third world standard..surely we can do better?

Tres bon medecin pour mon suivie apres une embolie pulmonaire dr kaedbey un super medecin tres a ecoute ,prend toujours le temps de nous ecouter toute mon admiration a ce medecin .

Hier 3h aux urgences malgre un taux eleve de patients..tres bonne prise en charge par le personnel. je n ai pas pu etre operee mais suis sortie avec une date pour voir la chirurgienne

Jai accouchée trois fois a cette hopital et les infirmieres (tous sauf une) ont ete exceptionnelles. Mon medecin de grossesse a ete super et je le.recommande fortement (dr. Gilles Mercier).

Terrible service, terrible outcome, won't ever go back there again. If you get bit by a tick and have a lyme disease bulls eye rash they are entirely impotent to help you.

People work very hard with what they have here! Cant be easy! People should stop complaining and be more appreciative

My wife went to the ER with a suspected broken ankle. She had to wait more than seven hours to be seen by the ER doctor. The ER doctor spent only a few minutes with my wife before and after her ankle X-ray. The ER doctor told my wife that her ankle was badly sprained and sent her on her way, only with crutches. My wife found out a few days later, due only to the diligence of her family doctor, that her ankle was, in fact, broken in two spots and she needed to wear an orthopaedic boot for at least six weeks.
