Dr.Sebag a été professionnel, a l'ecoute ,intéressé a mon problème.Tres satisfaite de sa façon d'agir.

First time visit with Dr.Sebag, his schedule was behind as there was an emergency earlier in the day. He apologized and was very professional, knowledgeable and attentive during the visit. I wasn’t sure what to expect based upon some of the reviews on this site, but I could not have been more pleased. 

0 EMPATHY, , AWFUL DR, FUCKING WEIRDO. HOW DOES HE HAVE A LICENSE? I feel sorry for those stuck with him as their family doctor. 

Was kind and took time to listen to my questions 

Dr Sebag. He was kind, caring and respectful. Very knowledgeable and empathetic towards my situation.  He has been there as well to help me deal with my anxiety and PTSD symptoms from which I suffer from.

Arrogant, aucune empathie ni compassion. Il ne fait aucun effort pour vous comprendre, c'est ce qu'il dit qui est, et toujours en vous faisant passer pour une personne stupide qui ne sais pas de quoi elle parle alors que c'est vous le patient et qu'il est sensé vous aider. Il parle en vous prenant de haut alors qu'il n'y a pas de quoi.

Young, arrogant, know it all... doesn't listen, no empathy, no people skills.  Dismisses your concerns.  Left feeling sad, hurt and angry by his uncaring mannerism .  Don't see this "doctor"!  If I could rate him a 0, I would!

Horrible experience!!

Dr Segaz est arrogant imbus de lui-même.  J'ai du attendre 75 minutes chaque fois que j'ai eu un rendez-vous. De plus il ne sait pas que pour une infiltration on doit envoyer la réquisition au département de radiographie et non au  département de la douleur. A présent c'est lui qui fait les infiltrations et conseille un nouveau traitement à 500$ que bien sûr c'est lui qui va l'injecter. Comme nouveau patient il n'a jamais fait un bilan sanguin pour évaluer mon état de santé, ce que je pensais que c'était la base. Il se défend en disant que c'est à moi d'en faire la demande.

I had a bad experience with this doctor. Hi is very arrogant and dont let u speak. The worst thing that he didnt give me the time to heal well so after several months the problem return. BAD EXPERIENCE

One of the worst experiences with doctors of my life. I left the office in tears. He was arrogant, inpatient, and rude. I came in for this issue that has been going on for 2 months, and he dismissed me. When I asked for advice, he seemed annoyed, and disregarded my concerns. He acted as though he knew it all, when I was simply trying to understand why I hadn’t been getting better. I get that doctors have many patients and are busy, but 

Très arrogant pas d écoute pas d empathie du tout je suis sortie de son bureau pas du tout rassurée et je le lui ai dit et il m a menacée d appeler le gardien de la sécurité 

Hautain, arrogant, capacités sociales dérisoires, excessivement peu d'empathie.  Peu de plaisir à faire son travail il me semble...peut-être malheureusement coincé dans une spirale négative à récolter ce qu'il sème.  Un rendez-vous avec ce docteur ne compte pas vraiment comme un rendez-vous avec un docteur, car quand bien même on sortirait avec la bonne prescription on ne sort pas rassuré avec lui.

Arrogant. He may be a doctor but does not have any skills communicating with people. I’ve never left a doctor’s office feeling so upset. I will avoid seeing this doctor at any cost.

Malheureusement ce docteur n’a pas beaucoup de compassion.   il ne m'écouter  même pas , il a essayé de me dire que je prends pas certaines médicaments et que tous mes problèmes sont dans ma tête

Wow! How has he become a dr? ZERO EMPATHY, worst dr I've ever met. He made me feel unheard and rushed me out. What is wrong with the Qc healthcare system??? This is what we pay taxes for? 

Was a tad arrogant and didn’t have any empathy at all for what I was going through, maybe typical of that age group sadly. I’m a health care professional in mental health and I can’t imagine someone consulting him for mental health issues as he would be the last person a suffering person should see. Basically he would need to learn that medicine is a human field not just a scientific one. 

Recently was assigned him as my family doctor and I’m genuinely disappointed. He dismissed my concerns  and seemed rushed and uninterested. After stumbling on this page and seeing the reviews I guess I am not alone. No eye contact, no reassurance, no concern for my issues. He seemed fake at some moments but nothing genuine.  Do better. 

Poor bedside manner. Cold and inattentive.

I don’t understand the super bad reviews… I understand he is young and has more to learn but he was super kind and understanding with me. He took everything very seriously and sent me quickly to the required specialists. He is very polite and a bit shy but doesn’t deserve all this negativity. I am more then grateful that my precious docteur found me a new one, people need to appreciate to have the chance to have access to a doctor. 

Lacks compassion . Told me I was never taking certain meds. Really rude too. I left upset, sad and without medical help. AVOID!!!!!! Arrogance at its finest.

Dr Sebag was able to correctly identify what was wrong with me, after years of going from doctor to doctor without any real answers. He is a genius and incredibly compassionate. He listens, and takes time to evaluate the situation. I strongly recommand him

Felt like he was not listening the entire time, he didnt even look at me. I agree with all the reviews he may be young but he has a lot to learn about bedside manner. I left there feeling very sad. He gas light me into thinking my symptoms werent as bad as i thought and that I didnt need the course of treatment I wanted. Very disappointing to wait this long for a doctor and get put with him. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Waste of time for me and made me feel like i took 10 steps back instead of getting the help i wanted.

You know it's a bad sign when the triage nurse asks who your doctor is and gives you the same look all women give each other when trying to indicate to proceed with caution. I left my appointment crying from frustration as I had never experienced sexism in healthcare up until meeting him. I can't imagine what he gets away with for patients that are too afraid to advocate for themselves. I'm so afraid of making another appointment which is honestly awful to admit. I really hope that he can learn from these horrific reviews and realize that he needs to make significant changes in his practice. 

This was one of the worst experiences I've had with a doctor, tried to tell me I've never been on certain medications to the point that I had to go to my pharmacy get them to print the 20+ medications I've tried and give them to him. I refuse to see him, I think we're the same age and he's going and acts like a gas lighting know it all. 

Dr. Sebag has been my family doctor for about a year. I cannot express how thankful I am to be his patient. He takes his time, he listens and he is very proactive. I’m a registered nurse and I’ve come across some really terrible physicians, but I cannot say  

After reading multiple negative comments about Dr. Johnathan Sebag, it made me super anxious. I went in trying to have an open mind and I’m glad I did. He listen to my concerns about my anxiety, depression, PTSD and possibly ADHD and we began the process of adjusting existing meds and give me some tips to help with my insomnia. We already planned my next appointment to focus on it more. I got comfort in his willingness to help me and my mental health. He’s very knowledgeable but he may come off as ignorant as he doesn’t make eye contact but you can tell he’s trying to figure the options. I just wanted to leave a positive comment about my experience so that the next anxious person who sees this that he’s not terrible as the negative comments portray. He’s definitely has a different method than Dr . Bernstein but remember you can’t compare apples to oranges. 

Head a warning. Young doctor with a lot to learn. Questionable ethics. Lacks knowledge of "expressed consent" and that of discontinuing medications that can render you incompacitaed or worse, dead. Young physicians are gearing away from medications that work by being taught nonsense in their curriculum. They do not educate themselves on mechanisms of action and off label use, specifically alluding to anxiolytic classes of medications i.e. benzodiazepines. While they are undoubtedly addictive, however treats a comorbid of ailments. A barrier to live your life at the hands of a Ill informed physician is futile and troubling. Readers, inform yourselves of the laws surrounding the right to medication and the right to treatment as you see fit. If you are denied, take it a step up and motion for a courts petition in a tribunal setting. These medications are never to be discontinued abruptly, a very long taper is in order and a lot of the times it requires going back up and down continuously, sometimes for years. These abrupt discontinuations of mental health medications will land his patients in the hospital with severe withdrawal syndrome, undoubtedly and will be held accountable for bodily harm and proffesional breach of ethics and neglect. Stop with the taboo surrounding benzodiazepines. Panic, anxiety and depression will lead to far worse effects on the human body when endured for a prolonged period of time. Everybody has the right to live their life as they see fit and be pain free. Stand up for yourself. I will also add there is a specific receptionist who is extraordinarily rude and very unhappy with her job. This receptionist, a female who I've beared witness to abusing patients on the other end of the telephone line and laughing about it afterward. Very pathetic, move on out of Dr. Bernsteins practice. The majority of staff are stainng his legacy as he the parts from his commendable career. 

I honestly didn't expect him to be so bad after reading the previous review but sadly it checks out.

I got told my panic disorders weren't that bad and I shouldn't be on Ativan and he doesn't want to refill it and when I explained that I've tried every medication for almost everything he didn't believe me and told me I was lying then when I said well look in your books he slammed his hand down on the table very aggressively and started scrolling just to say I've only ever ben on citalopram and Ativan and when I said no I've been on over ten different medications before we decided this was the best course of action and he told my a I was lying, I then started to tell him my panic attacks come from nowhere and he told me that's not possible and was gaslighting my emotions the whole time. Clearly not a doctor you go to if you have mental health problems. Made me have a panic attack in his office as he kicked me out because he said I was to closed minded for him. I said considering I have a panic disorder your not making it any better he then slammed his hand on the desk again ( I've been abused in the past and he knew that) making me jump and start crying then he just said that's my time and I had to leave, I eneded up getting a list of my past prescriptions for the past 5 years and sent them to him showing ife been on more than 15 types of medication before, that he told me I was lying about. Beware he is not a mental health advocate
