Dr Gauvin saved my life. I will never never forget her. I had 2 major surgery with her. She is human and honest.

Doctor Gauven was the  first  oncologist I was referred to. Everything I am going to write about Dr Haven  is with  a million of  exclamatory marks!

Take her away of cancer patient, they are going a lot with the treatment adding a Doctor who has no idea what they are going through and make everything just about her self is a big big mistake!

You get the sense that she has good knowledge, but she doesn't seem interested in sharing or explaining her perspective. It feels like I'm just a pawn in her game, rather than someone she values.

Dr Gauvin saved my life. I will forever be grateful to her. She acted very fast upon realizing I had a mass in my colon. Great bedside manner. Very competent, caring, and confident. 

I was having the worst neurological issues. 

I had a procedure done by this doctor last year in January 2020, after that procedure I was in terrible PAIN for over a year!!!! at the beginning she made sound like it was normal but after the pain became unbearable and it was EVERY DAY I went to see her again and she prescribed an ointment that did nothing!!!! then she told me to take Metamucil and there was nothing else she could do for me!!!! She did a terrible procedure and did not care after I complained about the pain!!! she left me like that. I went to see my family doctor and he agreed that the pain wasn't normal, I was in pain killers almost every day!!!! he referred me to another doctor (DR Bothwell) and he agreed with my family doctor, he actually found the problem caused by the awful procedure Dr. Gauvin did in January 2020. I decided to shar my story and hopefully other patients can come forward, she SHOULD NOT be practicing!!!!! She can care less about her patients. She made a mistake and she did not want to take responsibility for it, neither fix it. I am also glad she did not try to fix it because now I know she is NOT good at what she does!!!

I have been under Dr. Gauvin's care recently. She performed surgery on me and afterward the assisting nurse said that they had never seen a surgeon perform this operation so meticulously. Dr. Gauvin checked on me many times during my recovery at the Hull Hospital. She is a brilliant doctor and surgeon. She has an impeccable bedside manner. She answered all of my questions and truly listened to my concerns and opinions. She is kind and empathetic; a truly gifted healer. Thank you, Dr. Gauvin, for being such a great doctor and an even greater human being who is so caring and compassionate.
